PAS Statement Is Definitely Out

PAS General-Election Director, Datuk Mustafa Ali, said that the DAP is not seen as practicing racial-politics before, but recently, the party has began to struggle for only certain race. – According to MalaysiaKini report, PAS dakwa DAP amal politik perkauman.

Certainly, such statement is definitely out, absolutely out of the question and it is made just for their party (PAS) beneficial. This can be proved by the current political affairs. As we can see the efforts of DAP on anti-Islamic States and increasing the number of National-Type-Primary Schools regardless of Chinese or Tamil. It must be not seen as DAP discriminates Muslim or Malays community because Malays people has already a good treatment. Therefore, those who need defender, justice and basic human rights are non-Muslim nations.

In fact, efforts of the DAP leaders on preserving our social contract and a Secular States is a definite reason where their struggle is for all non-Muslim people and also for those Muslim who are moderate, a majority moderate Muslim nations. This clearly shown that the DAP is struggle for people regardless of races, cultural and religious harmonious with their slogan, Malaysian Malaysia and Malaysian First.

For us to find the racism element or a struggle for only certain race, similar to PAS leader statement is difficult for DAP but it is easy for PAS and BN. PAS is definitely a party who only struggle for one race, one culture, one religion, one language and one skin color. Whereby, the party only struggle for Muslim nations and this should be a concern where Malaysia is a plural society.

In the meantime, BN under the UMNO-led is also struggle for only one race, one culture, one religion, one language and one skin color. They are practicing racism ideology which is not appropriate and suitable for us who living in a plural society. Their policies, action and statements only will make non-Muslim people upset and filled with anger. This will subsequently brought to a brain-drain where there also been a large number of intellectuals migrate to overseas to search for a better life and it is particularly from Chinese people.

In fact, we are all Malaysian living in the same country must not polarize our self into two or more groups. We must stand together to make our country better. This only can be done by support the DAP, the party for a plural society and not those parties who only struggle for a certain group such as BN, the racist party who only care about Malays and PAS, the religious ideology party who only concerns about the Muslim people. For us, a multi-racial, multi-religious, multi-culture and multi-lingual society, those narrow ideology parties should not exist in our society.
