The Person That I Strongly Hate To

By the news released recently, it is being a person that made a lot of disappointments and provocations to our society, in terms of his actions and statements. The person that I hate very much is the GERAKAN adviser and immediate past President Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik who also served as the Minister of Energy, Water and Communication.

The hate was begun on last year. I was watching the RTM channel, it was broadcasting the news regarded of Singaporean Minister Mentor, Lee Kuan Yew’s statement which described that Chinese community in Malaysia has being marginalized by its government. Then, a group of journalists were toward Keng Yaik to ask his opinion. Unfortunately, his statement was totally immoderate and immature, he just keep on his answer, “Dia (Kuan Yew) salah, he (Kuan Yew) is wrong”. However, I just think that Keng Yaik purposed to avoid racial sensitive that time.

Next, the Negarakuku issues also one of the hate factors. I was amazed that Keng Yaik refused to accept Namewee’s public apology. In fact, there is nothing wrong on Namewee on singing the truth. If there is truly a mistaken on his song, then the government should take legal action accordingly to National Anthem Act 1968. Why should the government decided to take legal action against Namewee under the Internal Security Act and Sedition Act 1948?

Actually, the more appropriate side that should be convict under the Internal Security Act and Sedition Act 1948 is UMNO leaders. Whereby, their actions and statements have a high ability to destroy our multi-ethnic unity. The proof is such as the extraction of Keris Melayu by the Youth UMNO leader, the publishing of the article ‘Bersatulah Kaum Cina’ at the Prime Minister Official Website, issues on UMNO general assemblies and many more. Isn’t Keng Yaik brave and willing to say that related UMNO leaders should be convict? Moreover, the Negakuku is not actually edited, where the Negaraku lyrics still maintained with mixing his truth voices in the chorus of the national anthem. Apparently, Keng Yaik is said to be a traitor and betrayer as a Chinese and as a Malaysian.

Besides, Keng Yaik also ever made a decision on sending the bloggers to the jail. Why such statement being made? Isn’t the government concern our accordance’s criticisms and truth voices to disseminate to the foreigners? Moreover, the government itself also ever published an article with the title of ‘Bersatulah Kaum Cina’ on the Prime Minister Official Website. Does Keng Yaik decide to send the government to the jail? It is absolutely out of the question. This shown Keng Yaik statements are not rational and moderate. Every people should tend to take responsible on their statements, while making statements, should be according to definite reasons and evidences, do not only keep on criticizing but do not practice on our own.

To conclude Keng Yaik, I would like to say he is a traitor as a Chinese and as a Malaysian, he is a shame to our Chinese community where he is just a tool on attracting Chinese government-supporters. He is not longer in the Cabinet and therefore, I really hope he will at least make a contribution to our community before he is totally resigned. Till today, how far do Keng Yaik and his party struggle?
