The public are quite unpleased with the compound fine of RM300 for not wearing rear seat belts that enforced by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) which seemingly too high. The JPJ should start with a cheaper fine for a period as Malaysian was not educate for wearing the rear seat belts from the past. The JPJ move was too drastic. Besides, the 242 summonses issued by JPJ within 2 hours for the first day of its operation reflected the failure of its campaign.

Why no law enforcement against overfull buses?

Datuk Ong Tee Keat has served its position as a Minister of Transport for nearly a year, but there’s still no initiative or any mechanism to enforce law against overfull bus drivers. Is it the government needs to wait until there’s a passenger fell from the bus?

It’s actually an inconvenience for the passengers which not only affecting the safety of the passengers but also lowering down the frequency of the bus. And this makes the people unpleased for waiting a long period in order to get a bus,

How’s the taxi?

As people facing such problems, some will go for taxi. However, for overall, our taxi transport system is seemingly the worse. The following are some problems that facing by most taxi passengers.

1. Taxi driver who not taking passengers.

2. Taxi driver who asking for additional charge during rainy day, traffic jam or for a long journey.

3. Taxi driver who taking more than one passenger which the passengers are not recognized each other and sometimes, their destinations even different, but the taxi driver will charge its passengers one-by-one.

If such thing, what is the difference between taxi and bus?

4. Taxi driver who not paying change.

Although there are people who willing to pay more (as compared to bus) to go for taxi, but they still facing many problems which are unfair to them. Why there is no enforcement against bus drivers and taxi drivers who are not responsible and just giving priority to their own benefits?
